UNISON PRAYER O God, we often come before you in prayer wrapped only in our own cares and seeking only for ourselves. There are times, too, when we do not seek your guidance because your answer may be contrary to what we want. There are times, too, when we come before you but our mind and thoughts are on other things. Help us, Lord, to quiet our hearts and minds when we come before you, seeking your presence. Help us, Lord, to ask, that it may be given, search, that we will find and knock, that the door will be opened.
