The Flowers on the Lord’s Table are given by Jerry and Joyce Seward in celebration of their 30th wedding anniversary.
Today, we will be tying a Prayer Quilt for Bob Rapley. The Quilt will be available for your prayers and tying in the Fellowship Hall following both worship services. A reminder that Prayers & Squares is an outreach ministry that combines the gift of prayer with the gift of a hand-tied quilt. The purpose of Prayers & Squares is not to make and distribute quilts, but to promote prayer through the use of quilts. Our motto is: "It's not about the quilt; it's all about the prayers."
Methodist Men will meet for their regular gathering on Thursday, June 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the church. Following their outstanding potluck, a business meeting and devotions, we will view the DVD "U.S. Navy Carriers." This is a history of U.S. Carriers from the USS Langley in 1922 to the latest Nimitz Class Carrier of today. Dave Fuller is our host. Join our small but great group of men. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service.
Please note that there will be no Friendship Chain meeting the month of June. |
