PRELUDE
INFORMAL TIME OF HYMN SINGING
BRINGING IN THE LIGHT OF CHRIST
WELCOME AND PARISH NOTES
*CALL TO CELEBRATION One:..........We gather in worship, mindful of the need of the world. We remember the hungry, the friendless, the hopeless. All:..........But we are only a few loaves and fishes. Are we enough? One:..........We look out to the crowd ready, waiting, needing nurture, praying that someone might show them the good news of God’s love. All:..........But we are only a few loaves and fishes. Are we enough? One:..........We hear the voice of Jesus instructing us to break ourselves open, to become vulnerable, available to the world around us, to trust in God’s promise of abundance. All:..........But we are only a few loaves and fishes. Are we enough? One:..........As we break ourselves open we discover the fount of living water springing up within us, the bread of healing and peace kneaded in our own hearts: All:..........There is enough, enough for us and all the world. One:..........Not only enough-–more than enough. All:..........With baskets of leftovers spilling onto the ground!
