Unison Prayer Holy God, across the ages, the breath of your Spirit has been understood as the creative power which moved over the face of the waters and brought a world to life. Today we celebrate the continuing activity of your Spirit - how the breath of your Spirit swept into the lives of a fearful, but faithful group of people and transformed them into powerful and joyful witnesses of Jesus. As the Holy Spirit blessed and renewed their lives filling them with power and hope, bless and renew our lives. Fill us anew with the Holy Spirit so that we live from the gift, as energized and joyous witnesses of Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives. Amen

For those who attend early worship: we need your help! The Coffee Hour held immediately following the early worship service needs hosts. It is a fairly simple process. The coffee pots and cold drinks are prepared for you - just plug in the coffee. Cookies are available to be placed on serving trays. Moving the drinks and cookies to the serving table and serving the coffee is all that is needed. If you would like to bring some cookies you have prepared, that would be wonderful. Please sign-up today for this important ministry in the life of our congregation - you are needed!
Would you like an old hymnal or two for free? There will be some on the table outside Judy’s office for those that are interested. |
