This will be a Reader’s Theater, no need to memorize, just prepare by reading over the materials and a run through practice with the others in that day’s cast. Galactic Blast! - Vacation Bible School 2010 blasts off on Monday, August 2 at 9:00 a.m.. Invite your friends and family to attend. Register on line at www.umccadillac.org. See you there!!


Items are needed for Vacation Bible School. Vacation Bible School is in need of used CD’s for their crafts. It doesn’t matter what is on the CD’s, we will take any. Also needed are round metal (not foil) cake and pie pans. They must be some type of metal to hold a magnet. Do you have any pans you no longer use, that you would like to dispose of? Please drop off these items in the church office anytime next week during office hours, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. Thanks for your help!


All are welcome to come to the Wesley Fellowship Picnic at Cadillac Park near the Pavilion on Thursday, August 5 @ 6:00 p.m.. Bring a dish to pass and your table service. Lemonade and Ice Tea will be provided. If it is raining we will meet at the church. Dorothy and Tom Dean will be hosting.

Our August Loose Plate Offering is designated to go to Daniel and Rachel Gabler who are missionaries with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church serving with various aviation organizations in White River, South Africa. We have supported the Gablers for many years through our apportionments. Please help us send them a gift they can use to further their missionary work. Rachel Gabler will be here for a dinner meeting on August 19 at 6:00 p.m. - mark your calendar!


The Cadillac Revival Center will be receiving our food and paper products collection for the month of August.

With great joy, we welcome the Rev. Arlo David Peterson as the preacher of the morning. Arlo is a retired pastor having served E.L.C.A. churches in New York City and Key West where he also worked with an AIDS ministry. Arlo is the son of Ruth Peterson and the late Arden Peterson. May God’s Spirit rest upon you, Arlo, as you share God’s Word in our midst this day.


The long awaited Jean Stump Cookbook is available today. If you ordered one, please pick it up in Fellowship Hall with payment. Checks can be made out to Walt Stump. Cost is $6.50 per book.
