Welcome and Parish Notes

*Call to Worship

One:..........Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God almighty.

All:..........You have been our God forever and we celebrate your marvelous, creative deeds!

One:..........How did you conceive of day, when there was, as yet, no night?

All:..........How did you untangle strings of stars, flinging galaxies into space?

One:..........How did you settle on play and work when you were dreaming up our lives?

All:..........Why did you create for us so much freedom when you must have known that we would fail and fall?

One:..........All of your accomplished worlds amaze us.

We celebrate your creating Life!

All:..........Inspire us and conspire with us so that all our worship,

all our work and all our celebration will bring you joy and

honor! One God, now and evermore. Amen.

Holy Three, make us whole.
Wholly yours and wholly belonging to one another.
Creator, Christ and Spirit,
May our community of faith
Faithfully represent you, the God of eternal community.
Grant us grace to be open to one another.
Let our lives and our love mix and mingle and flow freely
In and around one another completely.
Holy Three, make us whole.
Amen.

As your elected Lay Member to Annual Conference, I feel I should try to make those of you who are interested aware of the “major” issues slated to come before all 1,000 plus delegates during the Conference, which takes place June 3-6. TODAY I will be in the Fellowship Hall after both services with information on some of these issues. Please stop by and give me your opinion.

You are invited to the Graduation Open House for Justin Bruner which will be TODAY from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at his home, 503 Arbutus Drive • Cadillac.

You are invited to the following Graduation Open House for Jake Ball which will be held on Sunday, June 13 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at his home, 114 Barbara St. • Cadillac.

Our Summer Worship Schedule will begin on Sunday, June 13 with worship at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m..

For those who attend early worship: we need your help! The Coffee Hour held immediately following the early worship service needs hosts. It is a fairly simple process. The coffee pots and cold drinks are prepared for you - just plug in the coffee. Cookies are available to be placed on serving trays. Moving the drinks and cookies to the serving table and serving the coffee is all that is needed. If you would like to bring some cookies you have prepared, that would be wonderful. Please sign-up today for this important ministry in the life of our congregation - you are needed!

Our June Loose Plate Offering will be going to camperships for Ethnic Youth (Advance #6910). We have been very generous with camperships for our own youth this last month. If you are able, please consider giving a little more so that disadvantaged/inner city youth can also attend these great camps and come to know the Lord in a personal way. What a wonderful way to reach these youths through the adventures and fun of a Christian summer camp.

The King’s Storehouse will receive our offerings of non-perishable food and paper supplies. You might also think about donating cleaning products such as detergent, dish soap, and such. These

always come in handy. We will collect these supplies the first two Sundays in June.
